    The Film studio "Mosfilm" and YouTube began an action which is dedicated to the 65th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

    Watch it FREE!!! It is a legal action!!!

        What these guys still fail to realise is that Russia is living in a bigger world than the USSR. Making foreign language subtitles for these films would cost but a small fraction of the total cost of making this special site on Youtube ,m not speaking of buying the copyrights for these films. Moreover, I'm sure that at least some of these films already have subtitles. Some people have already commented on this, asking for translations.

        The Russians don't want to lift a finger to reach out to the outside world and then start complaining that the West doesn't fully appreciate the Soviet contribution or distorts the real history of the war. Go figure.

          And you can already see most of them on youtube with English subs! (until they delete them eventually)



          It would be so easy for them to add them especially since it doesn't have to be broken into 10 min parts.

          Anna and I did PiterFM for our friend a year ago and it is still up..

            Ah, great, these films can still be found with subs. Still there's no effort made by of state or private companies to bring these films to the Western audience, especially that there's so little to be done.
