Finally I got in touch with a person, who will supply me with the missed volumes of BSA and THE SAME kind of books for the tank brigades.
The price will remain constant. However all those books will cost me much money. Hope to get them within the next month!

Ufff.... I have processed 551 books from my library (only printed books included). Already found some new duplicates...
It's too early to speak about finishing of this giant work, as I have processed only maybe about a half from my library. The work is slowly moving forward...

Also soon I hope to get more scanned versions of books.
Today I paid about $200 for rare set of old books. Hope if everything is well to receive them soon That'll be an excellent addition to those ones from the same series, which I already have!

    Regards
    Alex

    Lets discuss this in PM...

Of course I have plenty of interesting books!..
Now I'm trying to make some catalogue of my printed books.
in 2 days I processed about 350 books and it's still far from final.
I founded some duplicates, so I can make a sale soon.

  • Book more detailed than BSSA + other archival materials

    Hi, everybody.
Today I got a scanned book (Obshchevojskovyje armii v Velikoy Otechestvennoi voyne) more detailed than famous BSSA guide (Boyevoi Sostav Sovetskoy Armii). This series was issued by the General Staff in 1957 and published in a limited number of copies.
It contains OOB data for all Soviet armies through numbers 1-70, guards, shock armies and the Coastal army for the years 1941-44.
    It consists of:
    1941 - 2 volumes 1-26,27-61 Armies + coastal + 1-5 Shock Armies
    1942 - 4 volumes 1-67 Armies + Shock armies + 3 guards armies+coastal army
    1943 - 6 volumes 1-70 Armies + Shock armies + 11 guards armies + coastal army
    1944 - 2 volumes out of 4 presents Armies 1-50.
Unfortunately 2 other volumes are missed, or not published
also there are no volumes for 1945 year

As I have said it's more detailed than the famous BSSA book, because armie's composition is given not only for the 1st numbers of every month, but 3 times per month. Also subordination of an army is given an their commanders, heads of military council and headquarters.
The book set is in DjVu format
Who are interested in getting copies of this series, please, contact me.

Also I got some other interesting materials, but this set of books I guess is the most valuable among those.
    Sample page is here:

    regards
    Alex
