    Thanks for the Photos. Don't know if those aircraft are beautiful, dinky is probably the word I'd use. Cute though.

          They're gorgeous, almost fantasy-like, something from Herge or Miyazaki, in the flesh. Chicken and egg.

          Whoever restored them has done a wonderful job. The green of the control column jumps out at me asbeing oh so typical of th paint applied to Soviet machinery of every description, from airplanes to fishing boats. It's terrific.

            Thank you Alina. The I-153bis Chaika biplane is my favorite. Never saw a biplane that made me do a double-take until now! Very nice and Great Pics!

                Spanish Civil War "Mosca"

                The I-16, was also used in the spanish civil war.
