    I saw an argument on these forums that attacking Zeelow heights may have been better because it would have been worse to let the enemy to fortify Berlin with all of those troops. I don't know if they would have actually gone back - the Nazi command was really strange by this point - but it makes sense as a possibility.

    Anyways I still prefer Zhukov over Konev because he was more of a refined soldier.....very different from me but someone I would follow.
