    You mixed a few things in one.

    GRU is a military structure.

    There was Spetznaz of KGB (FSB) and of GRU. Different units.

    Guards... There are "internal troops" - guard of prisoners, help for police in mass disorders and so on. They have the same structure as ordinary infantry - platoon-squad. And they also had own spetznaz (spetznaz vnutrennikh voisk).
    The time of the scenario is 1985. A other reason why i had asked for the translation of Security squad is because in the years before the cold war end had each army a Independent Security and Protection Bataljon.

    I think you mean buldozer
    Yes.

    I don't know what TMM bridge is.

          I don't see any signs of KGB here.

          It's only a battalion for guard of different objects.

                      Absolutely incorrect.

                      Guards - Gvardiya - elite troops - in the USSR the most glorious units had rank of Gvardiya.

                      Guard - Okhrana - people who guard something - prison, important object and so on.

                      So in this case it is "otdelenie bataliona okhrany" ("squad of battalion of Guard")

                          • 38 Cannon artillery regiment 25.11.42-7.3.43 Converting to 215 GWh. Artillery Regimente 9 GWh. potential 7 hell 7.3.43 g.

                            In this, what is 'GWh.' and what is 'hell' and what is 'g.'

                            that last part is crazy for me. 'GWh. potential 7 hell 7.3.43 g.'

                            I will probably have more but will post them as I come to them. There is alot of stuff in this with over 1k artillery regiments to go through. Most I have figured out but some still confuses me.

                            oiptd = separate fighting-anti-tank battalion?
