  • Moscow railheads

Can anyone direct me to a map that shows the rail system in and around Moscow? Especially interested if any went right thru the city in 1941. Thanks

A number of major lines went through the Moscow area. I have seen a map of it, but can't say where to find it any more.

Google this: Russian Railways History and Maps

The scale is small but the Moscow map shows multiple rail lines coming into Moscow.

          Try this link:
          http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/ams/e...747-nn37-1.jpg

The map is a 1:250,000 scale US Army map of the Moscow area made in 1953, but it was copied from the Red Army 1:100,000 map of 1941, and it clearly shows the main rail connections to and through the city.
