  • History Made At West Point

West Point is the oldest continuously occupied military post in the United States, today serving host to the United States Military Academy (USMA). Established in 1802, the USMA is also the oldest of America’s five service academies.

Two outstanding cadets are selected from each graduating class for the school’s highest awards: number one overall cadet and class valedictorian. The class which just graduated this last week made a little history. For the first time ever both of those awards went to female cadets: Liz Betterbed and Alex Rosenberg.

Congratulations Lieutenants Betterbed and Rosenberg, and congratulations to the entire class of 2010.
