      Truly difficult to take another CoA than option number two, defend at the hacienda, even with the hindsight knowledge that this historical CoA lead to slaughter.

      The village (CoA #1) is indeed much more difficult to defend than the hacienda is.

      CoA # 3, break out cross-country, may or may not lead to survival of the company but completely disregards its mission to protect the convoy.
