Many civilizations used chariots at times, but it would seem most commanders knew how to defeat them. Alexander sustained few casualties against Mauryan or Achaemenid chariots.

Your link didn't work. So let's approach your question with the information available.

If given: the armies were drawn up in the arrays of the time: foot troops arranged in formations upon a open space.

the chariots were a surprise addition to a battle at that time.

Sisera knew how to use them.

It would have been a major defeat for his opponents. Infantry up the middle, chariots with spears and arrows on the flanks, then coming into the rear. Not pretty.
