  • The Effects of Global Cooling

This is an indication of how fast local climate can change. This is not air temperature, this is water temperature, and the ocean is a BIG place... Don't let this happen to a planet near you.

"This cold front led to a dramatic drop in ocean temperatures, from 5 degrees Celsius (41 degrees Fahrenheit) to 2 degrees Celsius (about 35 degrees Fahrenheit) in less than a week."

Sorry, PS, but I've used up my panic allowance for the month.

Not so much meant to trigger "panic allowance" as to illustrate the folly of the pro-ACC/AGW crowd of loonies.

Hmmm, the Sun effects our climate...make you wonder what kind of long term cycles it might have that we can't measure.

Longer winters are coming in reality and will partially blunt global warming for 50 years

        A "blunt" sounds good!

          I share this concern.

"Ironically policymakers, in typical inept fashion, may be erroneously preparing societies for the completely wrong scenario and thus be unwittingly committing one of the great scientific blunders of modern times."

Careful what you wish for, that smidgen of CO2 we make "might" help keep plants growing faster than the glaciers can chase us...
