  • US Pacific Fleet's Monthly War Diaries Coming Soon

    Gentlemen,

Starting about 1 October, I will be scanning and putting into Adobe PDF format the US Commander-in-Chief, Pacific Fleet's (CINCPAC) War Diary for World War II.

It not only will consist of the daily operations, but also beginning in January 1942 the daily disposition of forces.

Although the first months are small (92-138 pages) beginning in March 1942 it climbs to 300 pages, 400 pages in April/May, 600 pages in June/July and approximately 1,000 pages starting in July.

It will be much cheaper that trying to acquire same material directly from the National Archives (approximately 75% savings!) and judging from what I have now, it will be worth it.

I will keep you posted when the first month is available, again target date is 1 October.

    regards,

    Craig Crofoot
