Well, there are of course the 30 simple and golden rules of armoured warfare compiled during WW2 under the title "Panzer Vorwärts! Aber mit Verstand!" (Panzer Advance! But with common sense)

I dont know who the original author is, and I have lost my own paper copy. Its really quite nice, like a cartoon book with many valuable lessons between pictures.

    "Panzer Vorwärts! Aber mit Verstand!"

Does anyone know if the fully illustrateded version is downloadable someehere of the net?

A couple of other books that you might try is "Panzer Battles" by von Melinthin...Schwartzkoff found him helpful and "Panzer Leader" by Guderian.

But not too many people find Schwartzkoff helpful.
