**The Javelin missles would be used in a situation calling for
more air defence. To make room, the Eryx missles would be left
out. As for the Company HQ's,this TOE was gathered from a
document that did not specify those in detail. I could only
surmise that they would be mobile riding inside 2 Bison or
Brizzly (converted Grizzly) type command vehicles as well.
There also could be a LAV III Command vehicle in the works.
If I can find out I will pass it along.

    Rame,

Will the Eryx and the Carl Gustav each have a dedicated gunner or will one 'anti-armor' specialist handle both depending on the mission.
Any metaphor will tear if stretched over too much reality.

      Uh......it's DND not DOD.
Scientists have announced they've discovered a cure for apathy. However no one has shown the slightest bit of interest !!

As of right now, only one 'anti-armor' specialist will handle both depending on the mission.

My apologies to the Canadian Armed forces. My typing is by far lacking the training.

Rame: do you have any info re: the Advanced Lightweight Anti-Armour Weapon System program thus far? Afaik, both SPIKE-LR and Javelin were contenders, but I would not have thought the Canadian Army could afford either.

also is the Cougar (shown below) have a serious chance of taking the MMEV role?

and likewise, which MMEV is fore runner in the selection process? The LAVIII full height, or the MGS equiv?

likewise, has anyone heard if the CF is going to pursue it's own Mine Resistant Vehicle (MRV) program, or are they looking are procuring Bushmaster or Casspir vehicles.
                Now listening too;

Sorry Ivan. At this point in the DND selecting processes, only talk, ideas and no action so far. That sort of sums it all up for your questions right now.

Which for the last few Governments has been the extent of it.

Yes, they want to dump the Leopards now, but will they really spend any money to actually do this? Especially with a minority govt and the ND's holding the balance of power?

I'll believe it when I see it.
