    Every once in a while one of those groups comes over here an reenact the WWI battle of Be'er-She'va.

      Not nearly as much as in the USA.

      Golani gave an example, but that is quite unique and the US style weekend re-enactments are virtually unknown.

      Being from Melbourne I would have thought you would have known that.

        Yep, the local re-enactment scene is a bit weak, and From personal experience most re-enactors are very much in the closet, since non-reenactors really, really don't get it.

        The closest we get are the vehicle restorers and the excellent Light Horse units, but I'd say that WW2 reenactors are thin on the ground.

          Aussie reenactors

          I'm here in Oz, have been reenacting on and off for over two decades, Napoleonic ( some excellent groups) ACW and Light horse.

          Go to the website Australian Reenactment and Living History Organisation (ARLHO) and you will find it all.
