              Those cannon are really, really beautiful, niels wilhelm, were they models you had to build or were they already assembled?

              And what nationality are they, not British - Napoleonic Period, I'd guess, because I don't recognise them, but I'd dearly like to know a little more....

                Yes-French. One was used by the confederates in the civil war. They are two piece hallow castings, preassembled, from Denix of Spain. I have added a caped gas pipe encased in epoxy inside both to convert them to black powder fireing.

                    • Paper battleship model kits in 1/200 scale.

                      Though I have not been able to return to BUILDING models yet. I still buy them on e bay, in the hope that I will be able to build them--someday. I have purchased several paper battleship models recently.
