    Now I will begin padding the backs with 1/8" bass wood, to make a surface to glue and pin the hull planking and decking.

    68.00 today--butt I forgot to buy plywood for the decks. Only the hull planking needs to be scale thickness. I bought a bunch of bass wood to back the rib parts, and make the keel.

    the 4th. picture of the stash is the pirates of the Caribbean black Perl up on top of the stack.--the next picture down is the REAL ship it was based on---the 1733 36 gun Dutch armed Merchant ship " Hof van St. Janskerke " witch I plan to scratch build in the same scale for side by side display.
