  • LRAFB Airshow Pics (6/12/04)

I have decide to share it to everyone on this ACG Forum and I hope you guys like it. It was bad weather on that day and couple hours, the weather was clear and it was pretty much hot outside. Also, most of military aircraft are from CAF - San Marcos, Texas and it was pretty neat to see them, but little upset that there is no F4U Corsair nor B-17 Flying Fortress. So here goes:

    North American P-51D - 55th FG, 343rd FS, "GunFighter"

Nice photos. Seemed like you had a crapy day also. I thought it was raining 5 days a week only in my part of the country.

Yeah, it been crappy day when I got there, I mean I thought the bad weather should be over early morning on June 12, but it was still coming back and it was little cold also. The Airshow almost close down because we had serveal weather warnings and almost went home until i saw small chance the weather will go away, it did about 2 hours later after I arrive to Air Base.

Very clear pictures, but they seem a little squashed?

                      Pity about the weather.

                      Got any more for us?

Imagine a ball of iron, the size of the sun. And once a year a tiny sparrow brushes its surface with the tip of its wing. And when that ball of iron, the size of the sun, is worn away to nothing, your punishment will barely have begun.

Thanks, Doc. I had to make the picture smaller, because the picture was so big i mean it was huge and it took almost load long time, so I decide to make small. Sure, I got more to go.
