    Okay,

    WWII is over. US, Russian and Britian are allies.

    Chairman Mao has routed the Nationalists to Formosa.

    Mr Kim and the boys up north DO NOT have the T34/85 available to "liberate" their southern brothers on the Korean peninsula.

    So,

    Does North Korea attack the South in June of 1950?

    Does China send "volunteers" in August across the Yalu because of the UN troops invading North?

    Does Russia invade Northern China to relieve the pressure from the hordes attacking the UN troops?

    N. Korea did not expect the U.S. to send more troops and defend S. Korea. the U.S. did not expect China to intervene, both were wrong. The T34/85s had nothing to do with the basic decisions.

    N. Korea still invades, the question is the escalating response from the U.S. which leads to China coming in, which leads to.....
