    From a strictly tactical and operational stand point, who would win the Spanish Tercios vs Japanese Samurai armies?

    Since the very notion of operativnoe iskusstvo would have been as foreign to the sixteenth century Spanish and Japanese generals as T-34 tanks and Il-2 airplanes, why don't you just limit it to tactics and strategy?

      So is it a battle for The Phillipines or for Panama? The Phillipines seems to favor the Japanese too much logistically.
