        your not wrong, just trying in my mind to come up with a scenario that would account for this...was the russian trying to ram it or something? from what i can see of the photos it doesnt look like it is hilly terrain, good line of site all round, dunno , its really wierd that one!

          Looking at the landscape and the position of the vehicles, I would say that the T-34 came over the crest of a hill and and was just as surprised as the German.

            I saw a documentary about Kursk long ago where Soviet tankers admitted to trying to ram German Tigers when they ran out of ammunition.

              Yeah i read about that too, doesnt look like there is any damage to either tank in this photo , so on reflection i would say that Salinater is right, and award him ten points!!!!!!!!!
