    Talk about unexpected timing . I will be travelling to Dunkerque on route to Belgium during the 70th anniversary celebrations .

      My old granddad( ex RN 1914/18) took his fishing trawlers (3) on a Sunday afternoon cruise to Dunkirk in 1940.....something about picking up some guys on the beach!!!!!

        Yes, reminds me of the off the beach fishernen at Brighton that took their boats, motor driven boats towing a tail of boats that are normally propelled by oars.
