It is a pretty big day in history, and it writes easy copy . Just wait a while until the "60 Years after THE BOMB" for every military, historical, societal and political magazine to line up and dedicate an issue to.

Life has put one out and it's very very intresting. It's a reprint of I think 4 -6 weeks after the invasion and everything. It also includes the ADS!!!

History Channel Mag has posters of the beaches from aerial views available as well as articles.

              LIFE magazine

Yeha I have the Life issue it is really great, looks almost like the orginal. Great stuff

I also used to have belong to the History Channel club, but it got to expensive to pay the membeship fees. Maybe after I get some more spending money I'll renew or start another membership, it is a great magazine!!

              LIFE is probbley my favorite!!!

WW II History and Aviation are a couple in addition to the ones you've already mentioned. To be honest if they didn't they'd almost appear derilict to the veterans.

I especially liked the article in WW II History's current issue about Theodore Roosevelt, Jr. and his contibution to D-Day.

The mag from the History Channel club is OK, but if your resources are limited WW II History is a better magazine. I get all of the other ones you mention and along with Military History its my favorite.

I recently ordered from the Military Book club a special book on D-day that is going to have a lot of special reproduction material including copies of the maps issued to the airborne troops!

This is almost as neat as the Special Collectors issue of Gettysburg that included a genuine minnie ball. :thumb:

                        Cheers!
