    Certainly all good stuff, many are ignorant of the fact. There were mainly Hurri's over the skies of Brighton, from Ford or Tangmere? lcm1

        You may well have seen 'Bader's Bus Company' the following summer over Brighton, RSM.

          Could well have done Von but did Hurricanes fly from either of those strips?

            Two Squadrons of Hurricanes spent part of the summer of 1940 at Tangmere, No. 43 and 601 Squadrons...

              Ah yes, Re ford and an air\sea rescue Walrus at Shoreham, musn't forget her, she used to chug along the coastr as the 'All Clear' was sounding.
