    Attn to ALL my opponents:

If you sent me your turn and after 24 hours, you still did not get anything from me, please be sure to post in the forum to ask for what is going on.

Remember, I ALWAYS reply within 24 hours, even if I do NOT have time to play my turn, in which case I will at least send you email to tell you that I will have to play it later, but I DO receive your turn.

This is the latest in past posts from year zero I'm reviewing.
It pleases me to do so. Ergo I do it.
My nose itches I scratch it. A galaxy displeases me I vaporize it. ......part of the 'Way of lodestar'.

Does anyone know what happened to these two worthies?
        Does anyone care?
I do. Thats one of the reasons I'm reviewing all posts.
Let no man be left behind... let no poster be ignored or forgotten.
Can private messages stil be sent to posters this far from the past?

The Russian Front Forum is a good idea.

lodestar was called a man with no honour, no courage, no integrity and no honesty. To which he replied: "Hey, you forgot to add no moral compass!! How could you miss that one?

Dear lodestar! Scratch your nose whenever you want!
Really, there's lots of facts wanted to be known. I, for one, last year was trying to compile err... geographic maps of Eastern Front for every day - beginning with 22 June 1941...
Pretty fast it dawned on me that I don't possess such exhaustive information sources to fulfill this idea.
          Can anyone help?
Could it be someone has done it already?

            Every day?
You have one hell of a project on your hands, how many thousands of hours do you have to put into a project like that?

Maybe you can find a sponsor...

It will be interesting to see how many days or weeks went by when nothing at all happened. Mutual exhaustion must have made that a regular thing, same as any other front.

How would you color-code it, black for a static line, red for one in motion, and grey shading to show ground that changed hands that day?

You are right, this would take lots of time, still seems an interesting idea to me. All Russian front maps and atlases known to me are concerned about major events only. Smaller frontline changes are usually neglected. Moreover, contradictions between different sources are unfortunately common enough.
This was a longest frontline in WWII history and rather rare was a day when absolutely nothing happened anywhere - from Barents Sea to Black Sea.
Well, static things would be easier ones - just do "copy-paste" to enter new day. I was considering to use different colours for front line depending on whose achievement it was - was it Axis or Soviet advance - the part of front line in question should be coloured accordingly (certain colours for each national army would be good as well). I think your idea about emphasizing recent changes with semi-tones is very useful.
But it's very complicated work sucking lots of effort, requiring numerous sources - even if one is making up a relatively low-detailed map.
Still it seems an extremely interesting idea to me.

                    Yeah, um....

Find other folks working on the same project. They will be glad to hear from you, and it could make the project more feasible.

That one just covered the big stuff, and you see how massive that was.
And all the personal stuff came from just one side.

Back to the RKKA; I'd post there but its like they all want to run me out on a rail, so I don't bother anymore.

So far as I'm aware, AMVAS is still alive and trying to work on his project. He might be derailed a little by his work and studies at university though. He's a great guy too. Excellent guide for Moscow.

You can make a 9/11 project and include personal stories from both sides.

Because they were just two sides set against each other, like chess, the only difference being the colour The people should learn about the valor and glory of the brave fighters with the world Zionism/Americanism who got past American security controls and struck at the heart of evil, all told by their fighting comrades and relatives.

Let's see the reception you'll get

With voices like that being the dominant ones at the RKKA board, why would anyone with an objective bone in their body even bother?
