    The above site is clean, but I had to double-click to back out of a couple of pictures.
    Good stuff, and some is amazingly high-quality. It never ceases to surprise me... how good some of the equipment was back then.

    yup GREAT site! Though one the "stitch nazis" in re-enacting love to reference for "correct colors" of uniforms...

        that picture is eerie. I think they landed on Omaha Beach with that "Ranger" Patch. You wonder if what happened to them.

          They may have been going to Omah or directly to Pointe du Hoc. Either way the 2nd and 5th Ranger Bn's took heavy casualities during the invasion.
