The long toll of the brave
    Is not lost in darkness
    Over the fruitful earth
    And athwart the seas
Hath passed the light of noble deeds
    Unquenchable forever.

HA HA , very good, some people have too much time on their hands.

I have that movie somewhere at home, still a great flick. Cant believe that Peter Jackson is due to do a remake of it .Hope it does justice to 617 SQN and there crews.

We're going to see the original on the big screen on Sept.4th. A group of us are meeting up at the Doncaster Air Museum then going to the cinema to watch the film, It's nearly forty five years since I've seen it on the big screen!

In the future, such tongue in cheekiness might be best posted in the Barracks or Humor Forums.

He had his bestest ideas while drinking a nice cup of tea, like....

"I do not personally regard the whole of the remaining cities of Germany as worth the bones of one British Grenadier."

"They have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind"
