  • A story for Flag Day

When people think of World War II, the famous flag-raising at Iwo Jima is one of the most memorable images. But there is another flag from that conflict, and a friend of mine, that you should know about.

I'd like to see your efforts to keep the memories alive saluted.
But it seems that the applauses only comes from the ones who experienced the axis forces and suffered from them.

A very inspiring and sad story. Never forget the barbarity of imperial japan.
"A foe who had fought so long and valiantly, and had suffered so much for a cause, though that cause was, I believe, one of the worst for which a people ever fought, and one for which there was the least excuse." Ulysses S. Grant
