  • recovery of a Garand in Normandy

    Hello folks.

In order to celebrate the 72 anniversary,i share with you this very recent video made by some french detectorists in Lower Normandie.

What they find at 4.00 , this is simply a time capsule.
In 3 decades of passion for detection , i have never seen a gun in such a great shape.Hidden in attiques yes .Burried in the ground,no.
    Purely incredible.

That rug really tied the room together

Seek and ye shall find, eh, Sebby?
Will no one tell me what she sings?--
    Perhaps the plaintive numbers flow
    For old, unhappy, far-off things,
    And battles long ago:
    -William Wordsworth, "The Solitary Reaper"
