  • Gratitude for the fallen

Some European families have never forgotten the sacrifice of Allied soldiers to give them their freedom.

Been in Colleville's cemetery in October 2015 and the place was full of US flgs on the graves, beside white roses.
Adopting a grave is an honor there.I made a thread with many pics about the moment I spent there with my 9 yo boy ,here.
    Freedom has a price.
That rug really tied the room together

That was a very good thread. I wanted to revive it for Memorial Day Weekend but can't find it. What was the name of that thread?

Do you mean this one ?
With its 4 or 5 replies?
Don't know if it is necessary to revive it...
It took away from me my will for this kind of pictural in-situ threads.Too much work when it's so easy to copy and paste a link to a stinky blog

Precisely why it should be revived is because we Americans were and are so easily distracted.

We are glad to have a friend such as yourself. Americans don't do well in hugging events!
