It is always more difficult to fight against faith than against knowledge.

              • 11. San Marino - I am not sure if this country participated in the war - there were different pieces of information.

And a brief response to answer 5. After the unification of Bulgaria and Eastern Romelia on 6th September 1885. The Serbians asked for considerable territorial compensations along the whole western border with Bulgaria. The Bulgarians were expecting a military answer by the Ottoman empire to the unification but were suprised when King Milan of Serbia declared war on Bulgaria. The troops marched about 300 km for about 3-4 days. In the following war Serbia was defeated for 2 weeks. However Austro-Hungary protected Serbia and the borders between the two nations didn't change.
In history there are sometimes opportunities to answer to some actions made in the previous years. It is a matter of point of view to decide if this is the right thing to do: to make a revenge for the fallen heroes or to go forward. However in war there is no winning country - it is the country with the least losses.
