You sometimes post some good videos but these aren't amongst them' Who is the dork who did the commentary on the second one? The click on screen says Battle cruiser, the opening screen says heavy cruiser (correct) but refers to a wrack dive! And the idiot keeps calling it a battleship

In any case lots of murky underwater shots where you can't really tell what you are looking at = snoozeville.

Wasn't the Prinz Eugen 3/4th the size of the Bismarck? Where did the Prinz Eugen get it's name from?

Prince Eugen of Savoy was a Hapsburg general, at times a co commander with Marlborough, it is perhaps an indicator of the very short naval tradition of Germany that a number of her major surface ships were named after generals rather than admirals

Eugen was a heavy cruiser of the Admiral Hipper class, once known as the luckiest ship in the Kriegsmarine, which had the additional distinction of being nuked - twice - during the Bikini tests.

Prince Eugene was from Savoy. He was persona non grata in France so he went and got a job in the Austrian Army. Lots of European nobility was working in foreign countries back then.
