    Its an M1A1 with the folding stock like he said, the stock is folded to the left on the bottom. Don't you see it?

    Also note the flash hider on the top one.

    Looks to me like you nailed it.

    Nice picture; it kinda helps to give proof that a dog is a man's best friend!

    By the by, I didn't know M1 Carbines were used at that point...figured an M14 would be more likely if the M16 wasn't in yet.
