  • That is an MP 3008, it was a cheap German knock-off of a Sten MK II and used MP 40 magazines.

    • That is not an MP3008, its a post-war rebuild to look like one.

      The MP3008 never had a stock like that. Its stock was either wood, in later production models, or wire frame as seen in the picture below...

      • I believe the early versions did have a metal stock, later being switched to wood as supplies of metal in Germany started to get low. I'm sure that diffenent makers may have put different style stocks on.

        • Yes... Thats what I just said...

          But it never had a stock in that single bar shape... Only in the pattern shown in the above photo AFAIK.

              (I didn't know about the single bar stock, I thought it was an Mp300, but Mr V sounds like he knows his beans.)

                • The first is a Lee-Enfield WW1 conversion to semi-auto... at least I think thats what it is!

                  The second is indeed a Halcon 9mm Argentinian SMG. A friend of mine brought one back from the Falklands.
