    The idea being that through surprise a resistance fighter could get close (five feet or less) to a German soldier and shoot them. The .45APC round surely incapacitating the victim at that range. The resistence fighter thus gaining the superior weapon of the victim for future use..................

        I quess if it was used as instructed (at EXTREMELY close range) it was very successful since the .45ACP round was known for its stopping power. If the user missed he probably wouldn't be around to complain as the intended victim would most likely have killed the user since it did take awhile to reload this little gem. These things were crude beyond belief since it was hoped they would only be fired once. They were air dropped into occupied countries by the thousands.

          • It would be nice if someone would compile a list of all these smart ideas that where hatched and put to the test during WW2. I am starting to realise that there are tons of them out there, and that they slowly are starting to be forgotten.
