  • All the "gun ban" did was lead to lots of perfectly good weapons being:

    Destroyed,

    Deactivated,

Dumped onto the illegal weapons market due to the pitiful compensatory purchase price offered by the government.

Availability of firearms to those needing them for illegal purposes went up. Since then the gang "gun culture" doesn't go for collectable items, preferring converted blank-firing automatic pistols, MAC10s and Mini-Uzis. Generally the macho 'Gangsta' style weapons are sought, regardless of utility.

Within large constraints we are still allowed pistols up to .22, Shotguns & Rifles.

On the whole the bans were 'knee jerk' reactions to a couple of crazy multiple murder cases, where the perpetrators also happened to be members of legitimate gun clubs.

We Finns consider that PPSH is a copy of the standard version of this gun.

BT-7 Chasis with a British gun(?). Can't place the turret. Is it a Finish home build? Bit of a mash up.

I assume it was meant as an assault gun and not to face other tanks. Looks like a KV gone wrong. ouch.
