  • The world's first barbarian horde was....

According to the history I am reading of the earliest civilisation in Mesepotamia around Uruk, was destroyed by a huge horde from....Iran.

The destruction they wrought was complete and obliterated the cities until "grass grew in the streets and dogs eat men".

The language that was used in the writing at the time about barabarian onslaught has been pretty consistent ever since - it seems very modern, so we have our chums in Tehran to thank for setting the pace for the destruction of civilisations.
    What would Occam say?
