                      1. Jimmy Walker - Mayor of the City of New York, 1926-1932 (D)

Beau James Walker, formerly a Tin Pan Alley song-writer, was prodigeously currupt, piling in the bribes. He was not only a dandy with the ladies, but he liked his drink, too: he was famously busted by the cops at a Hamptons party, in the company of several young women, playing cards, and between the lot of them there was hardly one stitch of clothes in evidence -- all this during Prohibition, and with Beau James' good little wife tucked safely away somewhere in Upstate New York. If nothing else, Jimmy had stones. Like many a New York City mayor, he would spend the rest of his life overseas in order to escape criminal prosecution.

You left out the old man and his friendships with Meyer Lanskey and Sam Giancana, or that kid of Bobby's who died in a Harlem shooting gallery, or that Skakel kid convicted of muder in Connecticut . . . . Some clan, huh?
