Leadville, at just over 10 thousand fee (3094 m) above sea level, is the highest incorporated city in the USA. It's nickname is the "Two Mile High City". Although with a population now hovering at about 2500, the term 'city' may be a bit of a stretch. However, the population was once in the 14,000 range, which did justify its' incorporation as a city.
