And a lot of babushka dolls instead of matryoshkas. Doesn't mean it's any more true though.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to clear this one up too.

If you're looking for babushkas with the original Russian meaning (grandmothers) it's best to search, in English, for babushka woman

If you're looking for Russian dolls it's best to search, in English, for matrioshka

So let Google decide on what to search best, eh?

matryoshka dolls - About 538,000 results

babushka dolls - About 748,000 results - Babushka doll, a commonly misused name for Matryoshka doll (wiki)

This absurdly wrong term for matryoshkas wins by a large margin, just like the butchered spelling/pronunciation of borstch. I can't really see the point you're making here, but it seems like you're arguing for the sake of it.

I wasn't arguing, merely offering some alternative search terms. I used Google image search to search for babushka woman and matrioshka BTW.

                        • Do people really need to Google borscht? Even so Google always says "did you mean_____?" or your browser might even put the red lines under it if your browser's default language is English

Anyways we are on №11, давай.

They would if they were looking for a recipe.

And, as I said Google or their browser is smart enough to tell them of the mistake. Давай, давай - 11.
