New Site - PLEASE READ

Hello All,
My name is Ashley and I am the one that moved the forum to its new hosting location. This was done for security reasons and try to keep the forum from going down every other day. I understand that the new forum looks very different from the old one but I promise almost everything you had before you still have it might just be in a different place.

Items that are gone due to a limitation of the new hosting/ forum update:
- Awards
- Flags

As I was going thought your posts I was able to fix a lot fo the issues you were listing. Below is kind of a running list of issues an what is fixed and what I am still working on.

Items that I have fixed from your comments:
- Smilie are now working.
- Color/Theme changes
- Signature are now showing up. (Here is how to edit them https://screencast.com/t/OJHzzhiV1)
- Ranking is now showing up.
- Private messaging is now working.

Some issues I am still working on are:
- Missing items from the Calendar
- Like button the posts is giving an error.

One other note I have seen a lot is theme/color related items. I know this is important to all of you but at the moment the most important thing was getting you back a functioning forum with as many features I can get you back from before.

Theme/color is something we can change but it the moment I do not have the time and resources to fix all of the issue and design the site. I did do some theme updates yesterday but it is very time consuming. Please just be patient with the forum as we get it back to as close as I can to what you had before.

If anyone has any issues that they are running in to please let me know in the post below. Please give me as much detail as possible .

  • Looking for non bias sites associated with the wars involving Israel

I know there are older members here on acg who were around during the Yom Kippur War or October war... a war that fierce fighting between Israelis and Egyptians. Unfortunately when it comes to reading up on the various wars associated with Israel.... the internet is flooded with one sided propaganda whether it be pro Egyptian, pro Syrian, or Pro Israel.

Contrary to what some say there was and there is no united Muslim front against Israel...there never was a united Muslim front against Israel due to the fact that Jews were and are citizens of Arab Muslim majority countries and Arab Muslims were and are citizens of Israel no matter how much propaganda one can pump out this fact can not be changed. It is also historic fact that Soviet Jews who fought bravely in WW2 would go on to arm, support and train the IDF army....there is no doubt that the Soviet Union was instrumental in creating Israel...but the propagandists will have us believe that Israel and the USSR always disagreed with each other....nevermind historic agreements between the USSR and Israel....nevermind the fact that to this day Putin pays his respects to Soviet Jewish veterans of WW2 now living in Israel. Modern day Jews, and modern day supporters of Israel should be proud of the Soviet Jewish veterans of WW2 whom went on to support Israel.

I made this thread in the hopes that some fellow posters have links to sites that show us the USSR contributions to Israel, that show us Arab Muslims whom fought for Israel, that show us Arab Jews who stood against Israel, that show us a perspective of the various wars associated with Israel from a non bias perspective..

Stonewall Jack, I would suggest that the issue will remain a highly partisan one until all the settlements in the West Bank have been removed, and Palestine is recognized as a state. No doubt the issue may remain after those advances, but I believe they will not be as partisan.

Thats a fair point. Either your solution or perhaps one unified state will lead to less partisan discussions.

You have to take the data and filter it, then massage the results. A fun way to do that is to read two books on an event and compare them.
