Good job, HP. The first clue should have been the sloppy spelling of "history". I hope he gets thrown out on his unprincipled little azz.

                        2. The philosophy of Communism means:
                        a) a totalitarian regime
                        b) the nation’s resources are equally shared among all the people
                        c) workers are of equal importance to the intellectuals
                        d) all the above
Huh? If you read the classics of Communist philosophy, you will never find a), b) is just too shallow to be an answer and c) is wrong. Obviously, d) doesn't work either.

                        3. The Revolutionary who brought Communism to Russia and the surrounding States was:
Okay, I'm nitpicking here but "the surrounding states" is wrong too.

                        4. The acronym U.S.S.R. stands for:
                        a) United Soviet Socialist Russia
                        b) Union of Socialist Soviet Republics
                        c) United States of Soviet Russia
                        d) United Soviet Satellite Representatives.
Hahah, in fact ALL answers are wrong. One is very close but the sequence of two words has to be changed.

                        6. The Communists professed goal is:
                        a) World Destruction
                        b) World Deterioration
                        c) World Domination
                        d) World Decoration.
WTF? Is it a test about Communism or "Pinky and the Brain"?

                        7. The enemy philosophy of Communism is:
                        a) Consumerism and Private Business
                        b) Materialism and Private Ownership
                        c) Capitalism and Western Democracy
                        d) All the above
Same as #2. What is an "enemy philosophy? Fascism and Anarchism could fit there as well, and there's no mention of them or their philosophical elements. And how is "Western Democracy" a philosophy?

                          Good morning everyone.
I have been smiling, while reading this post form a lurking position just over the horizon.
As many of you know, I am a real-life, inner-city U.S., 11th grade history teacher.
I know, as unbelievable as that may be, Batman had a dual identity too.
I just got up, and am a bit dingy from the week, but please permit me to randomly ramble.

Welcome to the INTERNET, texting, cell phone texting. age....
                          • Hello young one, posting their test on the INTERNET for all to see, new member. And welcome to the forums. What do you think you are doing? Dang man, you better delete your posts. Your not my problem but...I need another cup of coffee...
                          • Cell phones and texting are constant problems in the classroom now. Teachers are supposed to confiscate them. Theya are to be turned off and put away. If I catch students with them, I demand the phone, give them time out, they write standards, I give the phone back, plus call home. I keep the lights down in class, so I can see the glow of the screen, them I do a quick flanking movement, and pounce!
                          • We have programs now, where if students turn in written papers to us electronically you run them through special programs that catch plagiarism. A senior English Teacher friend of mine showed me some papers, they are highlighted, and cited electronically. They are busted! I don't use the program.
                          • All my grading is done on the the INTERNET. I call parents electronically on the INTERNET from a selection of prepared comments to choose from. I asked to use the Voice of Darth Vader, but it's a female voice. Nice. Parents probably think I'm in drag or something.
                          • My students are so lazy, most of them don't care about academics at all. Actually I'm impressed by this teen's use of technology. My first question would be, how did he get to scan the test, and post it on the INTERNET? This is wrong on so many levels. We had a student do something similar to this along with other activities, got caught, and went bye-bye. He is no longer in honors history.
Well enough of that. I'll be in the barracks or reading about health care.
                          See you later.
