  • AUSTRALIAN SAS man bags certain SEAL's conduct in Vietnam

I am in the process of reading a book called "Behind Enemy Lines" by a retired Australian SAS Major named Terry Farell, and in it he is not impressed with the actions of some SEAL's that he worked with.

Particular gripes are that the SEALS's were too gung ho and ad hoc in planning and preparation, and the dumping of ammunition and weaponry while trying to evade VC who ambushed them.

He had to recover the ammunition and return fire as he covered the SEAL's "hasty withdrawal".

Farell was invited into this small party lead by a SEAL.

From the tone in his writing I bet he's still pissed off today.

    Anyone read this book?
"To know the weapons the enemy has is already to beat them!"
