  • New Forum?

Interesting... I didn't know you could do this. It appears as if there is a second forum inside the WTTA section? Anyways, I guess I will start out. This summer I am going to be travelling to Quebec City and the Plains of Abraham. While I am there I will be checking out the citadel and the actual battlesight itself. What are people's thoughts on the battle? Any good info? I will be taking some good pictures to put up on ACG.

Napy it will take you a good day to the the Citadelle along with Old Québec. The plains are now a Park and it is not indicative of the field of battle although there are commemorative plaques here and there. The R22R still guard the Citadelle which was built by the british in the 19th century, so it didn't play a part in the Battle of Québec of 1759. There is a museum there also IIRC. And contrary to what alot of people think, you will be well received by the people of Quebec city regardless of wether you speak French or not. Have fun.

We can always do with more pictures in the Battlefields & Museums Forum (blatant plug from me there...).

Its French-Canadian.......that's different. They're only mad at English speaking Canadians, not Americans.

Yes, we're cleverer than the other forums.

Actually, I asked Shane if we could break out the eras within WTTA and this was his solution. I like it so much I'm taking credit for it.

There should be a few more subforums soon.
