  • First Step to Revolution - May 28, 1774

On 28 May 1774, the First Continental Congress sat in Virginia. This was the first step to the Declaration of Independence a year later.

(I announced this to the Brits at staff call this morning...their reply [humorously] was that the colornials had lost their proper station again and that the event was not worth mentioning.)

Yep, they used to pick on the Scots all the time...I guess that's a way of life in England...but the #1 Scot (who had a great sense of humor) left so they've shifted fire onto me.

      I shoot back, too!
