We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are we are; One equal temper of heroic hearts
Made weak by time and fate but strong in will
To strive to seek to find and not to yield.

I have already placed an 'advance' order with Wanax for it.
May not be till June / July 2011 when it is expected to be available.

During my last visit to Hatchard at Picadilly in London, who have a reasonbly good collection of military lituarature "Once There Were Titans" caught my eye, but I didn't buy it, because I was a student at the time and money was tight. But if you say it is highly recommandable, I might order it online

                  Hi there
Like so many things in life mine is a personal recommendation. Very happy to have it sitting on my shelves.
You should find a good deal on it online I would think.
                  Regards

And then ypu can tell the author of that book what you think on this very forum.
If the art of war were nothing but the art of avoiding risks, glory would become the prey of mediocre minds. Napoleon

                        Gentlemen
My reason for reading the book was that I was aware the author, not only posted on here, but had been in touch directly.

I believe, even though I am a Sapper, that my next read will be about artillery!!

                        Regards

                            • Recommendation.

May I recommend "L'Armee de Napoleon - Uniformes du 1er Empire 1792-1815 by by Alfred Umhey, Jacques Domange, and Christian Blondieau" for your review.
Expensive but I believe worth it.
According to Amazon.co.uk it is unavailable now.
