    • Hello, may anybody helping me?

      I am looking for a decent picture of a French dragoon of elite company with grenadier bearskin. Not hussar colbac.
      Just like the Grenadiers A Cheval but in green

      No Knötel or Rousselot or Vernet watercolors or infography. I also discarded McBride illustration because has the busby on arm.

      I hope such a plate exists, I am desperate

          Paul
          ‘Tis said his form is tiny, yet
          All human ills he can subdue,
          Or with a bauble or medal
          Can win mans heart for you;
          And many a blessing know to stew
          To make a megloamaniac bright;
          Give honour to the dainty Corse,
          The Pixie is a little shite.

              • Hi Rava, thank you for the pic, wonder what's the joke the cuirassier is telling the dragon? They look very merry!

                Oh, wait, I got it! They are making fun of the poor dismounted dragon that has to walk instead of riding. Very funny!

                  • And the face of the dragoon is just priceless
                    It's great to see also some humoristic paintings beside the serious one (:
                    Qui a composé la chanson ?
                    C'est un tambour du bataillon.
                    Un soir d‘été, en battant la retraite,
                    Pensant ŕ sa mie, que toujours il regrette.

                      The dragoon is probably part of the joke. Bless him
