This last one is unusual as it depicts a Dragoon wearing a dolman of his old unit, the 12th Hussars. After conversion to dragoons their was a shortage of dragoon coats, so they had to carry on wearing the dolman for a while.

This uniform experiment (Project) came about due to the problems of dying the cloth to green, (had to be dyed blue then again in yellow) but thankfully, they persevered. This uniform would have been awful.

Vistula Legion & Polish allies

Did Herbert Knotel ever do art work on the Vistula legion and other Polish troops? Is it possible if he did, to get osme pictures up on these troops with his art work.
