Good first post Pepi. Looks like a good site too. It deserves a well earned rep.

I found this online free translation site http://www.poltran.com/pl.php4
very useful for the Polish language.

Gerry I think I've identified some of them, but some are very obscure and I am open to be corrected.

1st Picture - left to right.
No idea - 1st Cisalpine Hussar - Polish Legion 3rd Batt.

2nd Picture - left to right.
Austrian 3rd Rgt Fusilier - French 24th Rgt Chasseur - Austrian 4th Rgt Dragoon.

3rd Picture - left to right.
Possibly French Guides de Massena - French General Officer - Russian Grenadier Possibly Kiev Grenadier Rgt.

4th Picture - No idea on any of these.

Hope this is of some help.

Your suggestions fit closely with what I have found but that fourth picture is a hard one!
I have spent hours dragging through my books and have come up with nothing so far.

                    • The middle one could be the Austrian Deutsche Legion and looks
like it is the others I am still looking.

                      Regards

I think the 4th picture could possibly be French & Swiss Emigre troops.

The 1st figure looks similar to "de Berry's" Heavy cavalry and the 3rd figure is similar to the Swiss Roverea Rgt. I've attached 2 pictures but these are of a later date than yours.

The middle figure I still can't place but I don't think it's the Austro-German Legion because their facing were yellow.

If they are Emigre troops you have a staggering 77 different French, Swiss, Dutch & Irish units to choose from.

Regards the 4th picture I am attaching 2 more pix, another of Roverea Rgt & an unidentified one (Very helpful) but I think it, like the Roverea is a Swiss Rgt.
