    ‘Tis said his form is tiny, yet
    All human ills he can subdue,
    Or with a bauble or medal
    Can win mans heart for you;
    And many a blessing know to stew
    To make a megloamaniac bright;
    Give honour to the dainty Corse,
    The Pixie is a little shite.

                                Heres a pic from London Illustrated News 1863... obviously some time after Nap period although it does give an interesting insight into 19C uniform production... This family - 'miltary tailoring production unit' work by window light in slum tenements in Bethnel Green east London. There are still a surprising quantity of garment making factory units about there today... and I guess there a fair few fashion students there abouts at is as well! ...hmmmm human rights and human wrongs, war and fantastic clothing!! its rich subject matter even before the first cannons fire!!!

                                ps awsome picture collection here abouts... not sure about sharing the work of living artists without permission but its about time dead artists work got webified
