    I hope you like them.

    You should post whole pages. That is if they are your scans?.

    I have all four of those Blandford books on the Napoleonic wars, so if any of you want more, I will oblige at the weekend.

    ‘Tis said his form is tiny, yet
    All human ills he can subdue,
    Or with a bauble or medal
    Can win mans heart for you;
    And many a blessing know to stew
    To make a megloamaniac bright;
    Give honour to the dainty Corse,
    The Pixie is a little shite.

      Because I’m obviously not conforming to your system I just shan’t bother any more.
      I’ll let you post them all.

            I think you are misreading me. I'm not criticising, I'm just suggesting that if the whole page was shown, then all the uniforms on that page would be seen, not just a selection of each page. That is why I commented on if those scans were yours. If they weren't then I would post the full pages as well as the others I have.

            So please see my post as an extension to yours, not a criticism.

              • First post - new to the forums.
                Really enjoyed seeing your posts & uploads guys - some great stuff here.

                I'm currently illustrating the British infantry regiments of the period, and will post images as soon as they are completed. It's quite a big project, so it's taking me a fair while. I hope to have close to 100 soldiers in each illustration (for the finals). Depending on how much work there is, I may or may not get around to drawing officers. There's a mindblowing difference in detail for other-ranks as it is... Similarly drummers and colours may have to be excluded. Any help collating info on drummers uniforms, drum designs, and colours would be incredibly useful. Images to follow, cheers guys.

                  Welcome to the A.C.G Forum, L.S. As you can see, this forum has a humongous picture library of battle scenes, uniform plates and memorabilia. We also have rare contributors with their own artwork to show which is even better, as member talent is always as much of an asset as pictures that have been professionally commissioned or knocked up by 19th century 'salon wallah's'.

                  Enjoy the 'show', hope you have a long productive and informed stay with us.

                    It is true, are some beautiful images but have some doubts: that country are , that regiment, that year are, who is the artist.

                    I am a big collector of Napoleonic images but with the years imagine me that it will happen you to all do me more selective "" no only want to hoard images, need to know more on the image.

                    I think that it would be of big interest for all and would contribute a main quality to the *post if each one of us gave all the possible data on the image in question
